So it's officially a "school night" for me. I hate that phrase. It was always said to me when I was in the very peak of excitement, usually begging my parents to PUH-LEASE let me stay out just a little bit longer! Or when I was at my grandparents house playing with all of my cousins, just getting another round of Steal The Flag started, when I'd hear my mom call out into the darkness "Kim! We're leaving! It's a SCHOOL NIGHT!".
Not that I'm actually going to school tomorrow, rather, I'm starting my new job. It feels the same though. A little nervous, excited. Slightly dreading it, wondering how it was going to change me. Worried that since I needed to go to bed early, get a good night's rest and wake up on time, I'd lay awake for hours not being able to.
So in lieu of a fabulous, oh-so-exciting Vegas story, I'm going to post some pics from the 80's Party. Because we all know that self-humiliation is something that needs to be shared.
Ohmigosh! A bus ride! We are so excited!!! And um, it looks like Cabe is wearing lipstick. He's not.....I swear it.
This would be Club Rain. All smokey, dimly lit. Right before the fire spewed out above us. If you squint you can see my dancing self, all red and stuff.
Takin' a dance break, surrounded by fog, with our Fiji water. Nuthin' but the best, right?
Sweet hallway, right? All gold and glittery!
Phew! All danced out. Like our leggings? See me nursing my poor ripped up heels?!

Hope you enjoy your first day on the job. On my first day (back in August) I was hit by a semi-truck (twice) on my drive back home that afternoon.
It was definitely a memorable way to start a new job. But all is well that ends well, right?
Hey... I know how you feel, they weren't going to let me in either, since I am going to drink being 8 months pregnant. Oh well, it was fun to see you there!
Em - ARE YOU SERIOUS?! I would have taken that as an omen. QUIT. NOW. OR DIE. Did your car go to car heaven?
Bethany - It was so fun to see you as well! All cute and pregnant. :) I love that they didn't let you in either. "Yes Sir, me and my baby would like a beer..."
